The United National Party ^UNP& will be targeting to increase their vote base by 20] while launching e membership cards for the first time in Sri Lanka’s political history' The party aims to harvest three million votes out of the 15 million registered voters through this measure' UNP General Secretary Kabir Hashim presented the printed copy of the e membership card to the media at a media briefing at the UNP Party Headquarters Sirikotha yesterday ^21&'
The e membership card will be launched on June 23 at Sirikotha from 9 a'm' onwards with the participation of the leader of the party" Prime Minisiter Ranil Wickremesinghe'The event will coincide with the 92nd birth anniversary of late President Ranasinghe Premadasa'
