Yashodha Range Bandara was taken into custody over a motor accident on the 8th of June while receiving treatment at the Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital. According to the Police Media Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekera, he was arrested under charges of misuse of state property and causing a motor accident.
Four people suffered injuries when the vehicle driven by Yashodha Range Bandara met with an accident in the Kottapitiya Junction in Arachchikattuwa. Furthermore, a sword was also found in the vehicle driven by the State Minister’s son.
