Senerath’s case to be heard continuously!

The Permanent High Court at Bar has decided to hold daily hearings on the case filed against the former President’s Chief of Staff Gamini Senarath and three others over the misappropriation of funds belonging to Litro Gas from October 29 onwards. They face 24 charges including the misappropriation of Rs 500 million in funds belonging to Litro Gas Lanka.

This decision was taken by the three-member bench when the case was taken up today (19). The three member bench had decided to issue summons on four witnesses including President’s Counsel Kalinga Indratissa, Attorney Ruwan Dharmawardena, to appear in court on that date.

The case will be taken up on September 28.
