The Dolls Hotel has just opened its doors amid the high-rise skyscrapers of the Moscow-City business zone in the capital city.
Sex robots named Lolita, Sasha, Natasha, Alise and Isilel are waiting for customers, say the owners.
Rooms at the “legal brothel” cost between £17.75 and £29.50 per hour - one is called Fantasy, and another has a dungeon.
The total cost after paying for the robot rises to around £60 an hour, a price that perhaps includes the risk that the room will be bugged by the FSB counterintelligence service.
A spokesman for the hotel said: “We really are waiting for a flow of visitors during the World Cup - and we look forward many foreign clients, including from England.
“This is why we are now getting special permission to welcome foreign visitors.
“As for the players - if they are allowed by their coaches and managers, we will only welcome them.”
The “sexbots” are described as “warm” with “mechanical movements and an artificial brain”.
The founder of the hotel Dmitry Alexandrov said that 36% of Russians are unhappy with their sex lives.
“Creating a full scale leisure adult centre in Russia is not only a legal and safe way to improve your sex life, it is also a step towards fighting one of oldest problems in Russia – the violent exploitation of women,” he said, referring to prostitution.
“It is also a great help to people with psychiatric disorders.
“In Spain, for example, 30 per cent of clients are people with mental or physiological problems.”
After each client, the dolls are thoroughly disinfected with “special solutions” according to “international standards”, he said.
This guarantees there will be no risk of infection, he claimed.
“Some men simply cannot improve their sexual relations with women on their own, which leads to latent dissatisfaction, which, in turn, can evolve into aggression,” he said.
“This issue can only be solved by a professional ’call girl,’ who is ready to hear him out and make his sexual fantasies come true for money.”
But sexologist Alexander Poleyev insisted that sex robots cannot replace real humans.
“No technology will transmit how our skin reacts to touch,” he said.
“It is what largely shapes our attraction - not only visual impression - and results in genuine sexual pleasure between men and women,” he said.
Of the sex robots at the pioneering hotel, Lolita - with vital statistics of 45-20-31 - is described as “independent, self-sufficient and relaxed - she has no complexes, she is always ready for everything.”
Sasha - 31-20-33 - is “business-minded” and “in control of everything” .
Natasha is described as “the true personification of femininity and tenderness - shy and obedient, with a nice smile”. Her measurements are 35-20-34.
Alise “loves changes and experiments”, with vital statistics of 30-20-29.
Isiliel is described as a “harmless flower who will please the man’s eye”, with measurements of 35-16-34.
A Russian client called Denis said World Cup fans would be impressed.
“The dolls are very realistic, I would have never thought so,” he said.
“The orgasm is brighter and longer than with a real woman.
“The only thing is to use enough lubricant.”
Another customer called Maxim said: “It is great that now we have such a place where you can go, and get new impressions without being unfaithful or feeling guilty.
