Generally, it takes four to six weeks to show results, so, patience is essential.
Castor oil
Rich in proteins, vitamins and antioxidants that promote hair growth, castor oil is one of the most effective remedies for thin eyebrows. You should stop using castor oil
immediately if you feel an irritation or burning sensation. First, wash your face and remove any make up or cream. Take few drops of castor oil into a cotton swab and apply on each eyebrow. Then, gently massage with the tips of your fingers for three minutes. Leave on for at least 30 minutes. It is best if left overnight. Wash off with lukewarm water and
repeat daily.
Onions
Onion juice contains sulphur, which boosts the growth of collagen that is essential for eyebrow growth. It also strengthens the hair follicles. Take one small onion and extract the juice. Wash your face and pat dry. Then, apply the juice on eyebrows using the tips of the fingers and massage for five minutes. Allow for the juice to be absorbed. After about four hours, wash off with lukewarm water. Repeat daily.
Aloe vera
Enzyme rich aloe vera nourishes the hair follicles and increases the density of the eyebrow. Extract the gel from a fresh aloe vera leaf. Be careful not to include the yellowish part of the gel. Gently massage over your eyebrows, using the tips of your fingers. Leave on for 30 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. Repeat daily for several weeks for desired results.
Fenugreek seeds
Fenugreek seeds are beneficial for hair growth as they are rich in minerals that support hair growth. They will make the eyebrows thicker and at the same time, nourish the hair follicles. Soak one teaspoon of fenugreek seeds overnight, then, grind these into a thick paste. Add a few drops of coconut oil to the paste. Apply the paste on eyebrows and leave it overnight. In the morning, wash off with warm water. Repeat twice a week.
Coconut oil and lemon
Vitamin C, vitamin B and folic acid rich lemon boosts the growth of eyebrow hair. Vitamin E and iron in coconut oil promotes healthy, thicker and darker eyebrows. Peel a fresh lemon and slice the peel into small pieces. Then, take a glass bottle and pour quarter cup of coconut oil into the bottle. Add lemon peel to the oil. Close the bottle and leave it in a cool dark place for 15 days. After 15 days, apply this infusion on your eyebrow every night before sleep. In the morning, wash off with lukewarm water. Avoid exposing your eyebrows to sunlight for two hours after using lemon on it.
Milk
This ageless nutrient- rich remedy improves hair growth by nourishing hair roots and improving density. Take a small amount of fresh milk into a cotton ball and apply on eyebrows. Allow it to dry and rinse off with lukewarm water. Repeat whenever possible for best results.
