Battle will be on until 20th Amendment is adopted
Minister Rajitha Senaratne has underlined that the battle will be on until the adoption of the 20th Constitutional Amendment. Addressing a meeting of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) activists in the Bulathsinhala area, he pointed out that he is prepared to give up any leader or party that brings destruction to the country.
The Minister noted that the Government was established for the approval of the 20th Amendment, and he and the President were totally dedicated to the 20th Amendment. Everyone wanted to curtail the powers of the Executive Presidency. But Minister Rajitha Senaratne said that everyone moved away when their powers were to be curtailed.
